What you have at day 28

Four things you can check without us.

  • +Your numbers: two weeks of real hours by task.
  • +Your first win: one job off your plate, with the hours before and after.
  • +Your weekly scorecard: three to five numbers, run at least twice.
  • +Your plan: next quarter's priorities, what gets handed off, and what it's worth in your numbers.

Do your part, and if those aren't in place at day 28, you can stop there with nothing more to pay.

Where you might be right now

Sound familiar?

The business grew and your week didn't change. Every job still runs through you.

01

Quoting, admin or paperwork gets done at night.

02

Work waits because only you can do it or approve it.

03

There's no time for the work that grows the business.

04

Your week is decided by whoever calls first.

05

You've handed things off before and ended up taking them back.

06

There are no numbers to show whether any of it is improving.

How it works underneath

Plans stall when the person running the business is carrying too much and deciding on the run.

We work on how you decide, how you protect your week and how you hand things off, because that's what makes the changes last.

The year

Install your operating system.

Twelve months, sized to your business. For a solo operator or a founder with one VA, that means your weekly rhythm, a scorecard and the first handovers.

Month one: Foundation28

In 28 days we find where your hours actually go, take one job off your plate and measure the time it gives back, and build the plan for the next 90 days.

Months two to four: Ascend90

Ascend90 installs the operating system around you and the people you have, even if that's one VA: the weekly meeting, the scorecard, who owns what, and the first handovers.

Months five to twelve: advisory

Fortnightly advisory and quarterly reviews, so the system keeps running and the next quarter has a plan.

What happens in the first 28 days

Foundation28 is month one of your operating system.

Getting started

Your starting numbers, the three results we agree to test at day 28, and the five to seven tasks you'll log.

Week 1. Find the hours

Two weeks of real hours by task, on the Operator's Map.

Week 2. First win

One job off your plate, measured before and after. It's something you control: you stop it, batch it, template it, or hand it to someone who already knows how.

Week 3. Run the week

A weekly rhythm and the 3 to 5 numbers you check.

Week 4. Build the plan

Next quarter's priorities, what gets handed off, and what it's worth in your numbers.

It takes about three hours a week: one hour with Mark, and two putting it into practice. The more you put into the change, the better the result.

What you receive

A getting-started session and four weekly one-hour sessions
The Operator's Map and a two-week time log
A first win, picked from your own hours and measured
A weekly planning block and scorecard
A written plan and a completion report with your before and after
Replies to messages within one business day

"I've spent thousands on other mentors over many years. I'd be hard pressed to suggest anyone better than Mark. The framework is perfectly suited to each individual — simple enough that nobody gets overwhelmed and quits."

Google review

The day-28 review

A straight recommendation, based on what the 28 days showed.

Before we start, we agree three results you'll be able to check at day 28. At the review we look at them together and you get one of four recommendations.

Continue now

The numbers and the plan are in place. Ascend90 starts from them.

Wait and look again

A few more weeks running the scorecard before the install begins.

Hold

Something outside the program needs to settle first.

Don't continue

If the program isn't the right fit, we'll say so.

If nothing changes

This is the real cost of the next 28 to 90 days staying the same.

  • +Decisions keep backing up because too much still needs your input
  • +The team keeps working hard, but key things still drift or double back
  • +Meetings and follow-up keep growing because ownership is not clean enough
  • +You stay too close to work you should be able to step back from
  • +Nights and weekends keep going to work someone else could do
  • +Another quarter passes with the same patterns wearing everyone down

Week four puts a number on it: what the plan is worth in your own unit, whether that's a job, a deal or a property.

Ascend90, months two to four

Ascend90 installs the system around you.

It starts from what you built in Foundation28: your logged hours, your first win, your scorecard and your plan. Nothing gets diagnosed twice. A planning workshop and 12 weekly sessions, with the people you have, even if that's one VA.

Your annual plan

Where the business is going, this year's target and this quarter's three priorities.

Weekly meeting

A short weekly rhythm that fits your business, whether that's a team meeting or you and your VA.

Scorecard

The numbers you check every week, with targets, so you can see the business without asking.

Who owns what

Every function listed with a name against it, and the decisions that no longer need you.

Handovers

The next jobs off your plate after your first win, each one measured.

Issues list

One live list that gets worked every week.

Next 90-day focus

What the following quarter needs, written down.

Your before and after

Hours a week, nights and weekends, and your numbers at day 84 against day 28.

Ascend90 follows the 28 days. It isn't sold as a first step, because it starts from the numbers and the plan those 28 days produce.

How to start

Three ways to start.

Recommended

The year

12 months. The 28 days, the 90-day install, then fortnightly advisory and quarterly reviews. Your slot and rate are locked.

Option two

Start with 28 days

Foundation28 on its own. Counts in full toward the year if you continue before Ascend90 ends.

Option three

Step by step

The 28 days, then Ascend90, then quarterly advisory. You decide at each stage whether to continue.

Mark takes on five new clients at a time. Every session is with Mark, and your weekly slot is held for you. Places go in the order people sign.

Who this is for

  • +Founders and owners who do most of the work themselves, including work someone else could do
  • +People working nights or weekends to keep up
  • +Owners who know what a job or a deal is worth, but not where their week goes
  • +Founders who have tried to hand things off and ended up taking them back
  • +Solo operators, a founder with a VA, or a small team

Who this is not for

  • −Wanting someone else to fix it
  • −Wanting a tool or an automation built
  • −Needing therapy, or an emergency rescue of the business
  • −Not being willing to log hours for two weeks
  • −Not being willing to stop or hand off anything

How engagement works

This is how the work begins.

  1. 01

    A 15-minute call

A short conversation about which jobs keep landing on you, what they cost, and whether there is a real fit.

  2. 02

    Choose how to start

The year, the 28 days on their own, or step by step. We agree your starting numbers and the three results we'll test at day 28.

  3. 03

    The 28 days

Find the hours, take the first win, run the week, and build the plan.

  4. 04

    The day-28 review

We check the three results together. Inside the year, Ascend90 starts from your plan. Do your part, and if the four things aren't in place, you can stop there with nothing more to pay.

Common questions

What is the first win?+

One job that comes off your plate in week two. It has to be something you control: you stop it, batch it, template it, or hand it to someone who already knows how. We measure the hours it takes before and after, from your own time log.

How much of my time does it take?+

One hour a week with Mark, and about two hours a week putting it into practice. The two hours cover your daily log (ten minutes a day for the first two weeks), the change you make in week two, and your weekly planning block from week three.

I'm already flat out. How do I fit this in?+

That's who it's built for. The first win gives hours back in week two, and we measure them.

What happens in the 15-minute call?+

We talk about which jobs keep landing on you, what they cost, and whether the year or the 28 days is the right place to start.

What if I start with the 28 days and want to keep going?+

What you paid for the 28 days counts in full toward the year if you continue before Ascend90 ends.

Can I skip Foundation28 and start with Ascend90?+

No. The 28 days produce the numbers and the plan Ascend90 starts from. If you already know you want the whole thing, take the year. The 28 days are its first month.

Will this fix everything in 28 days?+

No. You get one measured result, your real numbers and a plan. The system gets installed over the following 90 days.

Do you build systems or automations for me?+

No. Mark coaches you and the people you have. Mapping a process and deciding what gets automated is Ascend90 work. Where you need a bookkeeper, an accountant or a developer, we'll point you to one.

Is this consulting?+

No. We don't do the work for you, and we don't hand you a report. You make the changes, with Mark alongside.

What if my numbers are rough?+

Bring what you have. Before we start we'll ask for 6 to 12 months of basics from your records: how many jobs or deals a month, and revenue a month. The two-week log gives us the rest.

How do I know if now is the right time?+

If the same jobs keep landing on you, you can name what they cost, and you'll give it ten minutes a day for two weeks, now is a good time.

Why Tamim490

A method built from 45+ years of combined real-world experience.

Mark brings 25+ years inside business leadership, operations, and strategic execution. He understands what happens when growth starts to outrun structure and too much stays with the founder.

Caren brings 20+ years in the clinical space as a nurse, with deep experience in health, wellness, and addiction-related recovery support. That wider lens matters because business strain is never purely structural.

The aim is a business that's easier to lead, easier to hand over, and able to grow without the founder carrying so much of the weight.

Client perspective

After years and thousands spent on other mentors.

★★★★★
"I've worked with Mark for the past 6 months and in that time I've personally grown. His ability to dial in and communicate effectively — to help me understand what I need to do — has been incredible. The framework is perfectly suited to each individual, whether you're structured or unstructured. Mark doesn't leave anything to guesswork. Nothing is left to chance. After many years and thousands spent on other mentors, I'd be hard pressed to suggest anyone better."
